Meet Our Team

  • Naime Tugac

Founder & Clinical Director | Registered Kinesiologist and Certified Exercise Physiologist

Naime earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Master of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Waterloo. With over 10 years of experience in exercise rehabilitation and chronic disease management, Naime is passionate about helping individuals build confidence, improve function, and enhance their quality of life through evidence-based movement.

Naime's career began at the YMCA, where she supervised community programs designed to support individuals living with chronic health conditions. This experience strengthened her commitment to making exercise safe, accessible, and empowering for people of all abilities.

Driven by a desire to expand her clinical expertise, Naime joined St. Mary's Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, where she spent seven years working alongside an interdisciplinary healthcare team. During this time, she helped individuals living with cardiovascular disease and other chronic conditions safely return to physical activity while developing personalized exercise programs that supported long-term health and independence.

Over the years, Naime recognized a growing need for more individualized, relationship-centered care. Inspired by this vision, she founded Movementality to create a welcoming environment where clients receive expert guidance, personalized exercise programming, and ongoing support tailored to their unique goals and health conditions.

Today, Naime specializes in exercise therapy for individuals living with chronic conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, cancer, neurological conditions, and age-related mobility concerns. Her mission is to help every client move with confidence, improve their function, and experience the lifelong benefits of movement in a supportive and compassionate environment.
